In our collaboration we will establish common grounds, develop, plan and work towards our upcoming exhibition. The initiative for this collaboration started in 2025 and will continue until 2027.
The first co-working event of the collaboration will be taking place in Mottaket during easter 2026: 30.03.-12.04.
Hole currently resides in Hareid and Ålesund, Sigrid in Nordfjordeid and Gro in Karmøy. We all share the background of growing up in partly rural and scenic areas of the northwest region of Norway, which may have left a trace or tone, in our artistic directions over time.
Mottaket is an artist run project space and showroom in the heart of Ålesund, connected to Aggregat artist community. The space is open to the public as announced by the individual artists, during their residency period of the space.
The window view on street level, along both rooms of the space, allows the public to view the progress of each project 24/7.
